Edward Zelenak’s 1978 sculpture, ‘Aporia’, a word meaning ‘a logical impasse or contradiction’, was gifted to Waterloo Region by the Canada's Ontario government in 1980. The 2300 kilogram orange fibreglass artwork evoked renewed controversy following its $27,000 restoration in 2020. This public art is on display outside Kitchener, Ontario's former provincial courthouse. for a closer look, see my slideshow (https://youtu.be/9fGEUkdBEFg)
