This $4M #hanging ball is located in Taipei 101 (used to be tallest bldg in world) serving as a tuned mass damper to counter wind and earthquake building sway reducing up to 40% of the buildings movement. It is suspended from the 92nd floor to the 88th floor viewable to visitors. What I found amazing is the elevator speed (37mph) and you can't feel it move
