#numbers associated with the U.S. Naval Academy coffee shop on the academy grounds. I’ve spent a lot of time on these grounds and this is the first time I recall going here for coffee. Following research I come to realization it’s bc it opened in 2019.

“Two structures were originally built as security gatehouses just inside Gate 3, which served as the main entrance to the academy yard for many years and are among the very few remaining 19th-century buildings still standing on the Naval Academy Yard. For most of their history, the gatehouses housed the academy's security personnel, including the U.S. Marines, the yard master-at-arms, Navy shore patrols, the Naval Academy police, and later Department of Defense police.”
