Chaco Canyon just before sunset looking away from the ruins. It was silent with no humans or animals within sight in any direction. There is a certain spiritual presence in this place and New Mexico in general.

Leaving the canyon at sunset and driving across the mesa in the dark to the highway was a scary experience. Just a sand track with a few signs and even fewer dwellings for 30 miles or so. #bright
