Waiting to open
#waiting #marathondaffodils In 2014, one year after the Boston Marathon bombings, pots of sunny yellow daffodils appeared along the 26.2-mile race route and especially in the Back Bay part of the city where the finish line is. It's now an annual tradition and they were out today, the day before the race. The growers work to time things so that the flowers open just in time for Marathon Monday... but so far only a few were open. Hopefully tomorrow's warmth and sunshine will do the trick!
