I have already told many times about our historical city wall in Noerdlingen. In the Middle Ages, these half houses were built directly against the wall. Here lived mostly the city soldiers. Thus, the way from below to the surrounding battlements was as short as possible. This was a strategic advantage during armed conflicts.
Today, normal citizens live here. The circumferential walkway on the battlements is a highlight for residents and tourists.
