.... is the only town wall in Germany that has a fully preserved, accessible and covered walkway. It surrounds the entire medieval old town of Nördlingen and can be walked along its entire length of 2.6 kilometers. The town wall includes five gates with four gate towers , eleven further towers and two bastions.
